TERRACES WITH VIEW OF LONDON'S SKYLINE

TERRACES WITH VIEW OF LONDON'S SKYLINE

Concept design of outdoor terraces: a 350 m2 area to be re-designed, re-purposed and materials to be reused. The client, a corporate investment bank, wanted a space to host informal client meetings, coffee and lunch break, and catering on an ad-hoc basis.

The space is divided into four separate and unique areas: circular seating is part of the integral patio design, square concrete seating with integrated led lights, secluded area for catering, and circular zen area for a more relaxed environment. The proposal has been designed with minimum wastage in mind, and most existing materials are being re-used. Pavement slabs and pebbles will form part of the new proposed seating. The re-used materials forms the structural design. As a result, this design has little impact on the environment, and cost wise; waste offloading set to a minimum.
